I'm looking forward to starting a new year. This year has had its high points and low points, its been an emotional year. Not that any year with me is non-emotional but there was a few more low points to be emotional about then I would like in a year.
So on new years night I'm going to toast in a wonderful year for my whole family.

My Grandpa passed away at 4:00am today, I prayed for him before I went to bed that it all be painless and peaceful for him because I was told he might go in the night. I hope my prayers were answered.

Today I found out they are putting my Grandpa, my mom's dad, in a hospice. He has been in the hospital for dehydration and a kidney infection but the doctors have run a lot of tests and with all the care he is getting he is getting no better he is just more comfortable now. My mom and grandma met with the the hospital yesterday for a family meeting and they were told that his body is shutting down and for all they can do he will not get much better if at all. I feel so sad for my mom, I know this is so hard on her. I am sad but I worry for my mom more then anything. They are supposedly reading him his last rights today and he will go in hospice, we have no idea how long he will last.......................

I'm feeling down today. Its a gray morning and I feel like i'm in a gray fog right now..............

I must tell myself look at all the positives and this feeling will pass...................

~ Twinkle Twinkle Little Light ~

I just put up my Christmas tree and I love to watch the lights. I love how they make the ornaments shine so nice and how they give a nice warm inviting glow to the room that makes me feel so special. I love Christmas time its such a nice time for me, Its my one time a year where I get to be a kid and its totally ok and I roll with it. I feel like a kid in a candy store as you might say when I'm around Christmas stuff at this time of the year. I hope to put a smile on everyone's face this year with my sharing of the joy of the season.
