Sofy has passed away. She left 6/20/05 at around 6pm. I was there by her side when she passed away, I just hugged her and cried. I've never had someone so close to me leave and it hurts more then I imagined.
I miss my furry angel, I hope she knows just how much I love her and that she will always be my baby.

Blow me away!

I thought I was gonna fly away at any min through out the night on into this morning. It was the windiest I have seen it in a looooonnnnng time and that's saying a lot cuse where I live you get a lot of downslope winds. My house shook and once the door flew right open upon my mistake of not latching it tight. I was just hopeing when I went to sleep last night I wasn't gonna wake up in a different place.
All I have to say is Thanks to the people who secured my house down when it was put in new, you did a great job!

Update on Sofy

She is doing well. She is on steroids and that has helped her gain a little bit of weight and that makes me happy. She is pretty quiet these days but she is doing well. I'm very happy with this for now.

Money comes, Money goes...........

I hate that truth and this morning confirmed my hate for it. I was on my way to the bank before I headed out to work to deposit my tax return checks (joy joy now I was to have some more money in my savings) when I hit a big pot hole on the highway. I sneezed and I didn't have time to react to swerve out of the way to miss the hole even thought I did see it right before I collided with it.
So now it looks like that money I just received and put in the bank will most likely be going to fix my car. I bent the wheel pretty bad and may have messed up the tire as well. It is in the shop now being looked at so I will know for sure what is wrong and how much poorer I will be after I get off work.

New Idea!!!

I'm thinking I should look into marketing my crafts on the internet. I'm wanting to get back into my crafts once everything is organized so I can get to it in my house. I sew my quilts and am looking into new little projects to sew that could be useful in everyday life. I'll have to think this over hard, talk to those that I know will give me there honest opinions and see if this could be a good idea for me.
I'll also have to think of a name to market my wares under........Newton Street Manufacturing, Mt. Vernon Mills, Golden Hill Corporation..........Any more ideas out there for a good name for my little company?
